I don't know if you've heard but co-working spaces are all the rage right now, a new 'space to hire' concept that's taken off globally. They're more than just renting a desk in an office, they have evolved into like-minded communities and little ecosystems, a place where creatives can establish connections, digital nomads can trade travel stories and build networks without the overheads that come with a traditional office space. Plus when you're freelancing, working on the road or simply blogging in your spare time I find working from my hotel bed an inspiration buzz kill!
Side note - If you don't know me, creativity and inspiration is one of my more favourite topics, but more about that later (watch this space). For now, if you can relate you need to read 'Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert'. Stop reading this article, go find that book, download it online, get it from your local book shop, whatever you need to do! Then of course come back to this post, you'll thank me later.
So back to business, when I find a place to work that inspires me, that's thriving with creative vibes then I know I've hit the jackpot. Dojo Bali certainly ticks all those boxes, even offering free seminars and workshops with different industry leaders every week. And when that midday slump kicks in, treat yourself to a Nalu Bowl in the onsite organic cafe, stocking all your favourite flavours of Happy Kombucha, or cool off in the pool!
You can pay as you go or sign up for a monthly membership! Be sure to get creative at Dojo Bali next time your chillin' out in Canggu. Xx
